China Wuqiao International Arobatic Art School

Our center aims to spread and promote the acrobatics arts of the Chinese nation, strengthen exchanges and promote the culture of Chinese and foreign acrobatics through the training of foreign students. And by teaching and spreading acrobatics history and training techniques and increasing theatrical experience through participating in internship performances, we endeavors to help foreign acrobatics trainees develop into excellent acrobats in both ability and integrity. We will fully use the functions of our organization as the China Wuqiao International Acrobatics Training Center and an International promotion of Chinese language schools base approved by China Ministry of Culture and China Ministry of Commerce to recruit foreign acrobatics lovers on the long or short term basis and increase our presence in the international community.

Our acrobatics Training has won many honors for the country and it has attracted great attention in some big events. For example, in 2003, six Tanzania graduates of 2002 participated in the banquet performances of the Second Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, held in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. Their performance was warmly welcomed and praised by the attending leaders; in 2004, our trainees took part in the first China-Africa Youth Festival. In 2005, our students showcased of their highlight in a special performance in Beijing for the diplomatic envoys of African countries and the leaders of Chinese relevant ministries. On November 4, 2006, our 23 trainees from Ethiopia, Ghana and Kenya participated in the performances of Beijing Summit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum in the Great Hall of the People. 48 African leaders and prime ministers accompanied by Chinese party and state leaders watched the performance and spoke highly of their performance; On July 28 and 29 of 2008, our 22 trainees took part in the "Meet in Beijing" Olympic Cultural Festival African Night show held at the Great Hall of the People. It was reviewed favorably by the foreign ambassadors and the community. Our students also appeared on the 30th anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Training Institute of the Ministry of Commerce officials in 2010, "New Year's Day celebrations and the tenth anniversary celebration of China-Africa Cooperation Forum held in Beijing's Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. It was cited by China Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Culture and appreciated by the involved embassies.

Good social and economic benefits have been achieved by our international graduates who engage in acrobatics after returning. In 2008, after finishing their study and going back to their homeland, six Comoran acrobatics small trainees participated in the Comoros Independence Day celebrations on July 6. It had won great acclaim from the attendees Comoran President Sambi, government officials and Chinese ambassador. President Sambi hugged our ambassador, thanking China for training them excellent acrobatic talents. Thanks to our practical teaching method and scientific management, we have achieved outstanding result. As a result, a competitive phenomenon has happened in our campus. A daughter or a sister would come after her father or brother. For example, in December 2008, a 15-year-old girl with other five students came to our school. She is the daughter of our Tanzanian student Abbas, who become the Tanzania National Troupe coach after returning in 2003. The Ethiopian student Saiyi Di support his sister Vivien to study in our school at their own expense after coming back to his home.
